On the MTP panel I use the function HMIRuntime.UI.SysFct.LogOff(); In my experience, this function must be executed asynchronously, and in the PC runtime it inevitably leads to the runtime freezing/hanging. The trace viewer shows something like "long running function detected". Has anyone had experience with this, is there any elegant solution to get into the "user administration"/login dialogue in Windows Kiosk mode with Edge without a keyboard? regards Sebastian

After its call, the system goes automatically to login page. About kiosk mode without keyboard, it will be necessary to have a "way" enter data to login (virtual keyboard? barcode reader? RF ID?...). Maybe you could explain us why you need logout and logon an Kiosk application without keyboard.

seb4nihel Regular Member Joined: 6/5/2020 Last visit: 10/4/2024 Posts: 35 Rating: (2)	Hello Mr. Pegaia, you understood exactly what i ment, but the simple LogOff() function is only working on MTP Panles, it's indeed not working on the PC-Runtime as other Forum Members in the German Forum also replied. My Goal is to provide a simple Button for the HMI-Operator to logoff and automatically show the Unified login sreen again to log back in with another user (to change rights). Maybe one could use the virtual keyboard and fire the reload event (via F5 key) but that ist not very convinient in my opinion. Other users suggested to place a browser control in which the login page is displayed, but this is also not working out for me. Some other ideas?
