Thanks for the info. I am able to change speed of the motor, however it does not save the new value. It goes back to the previous value after motor is restarted.

We have another MM420 where "P" button does not respond when pressed, any clues?

Split from Micromaster 420 Speed Control.

Set P1030 to 1, Motor Potentiometer, the last setpoint will be stored.

If you need a fixed setpoint at start up set the required frequency in P1040.

The P button is a bit fundamental for the Micromaster??

Have a look at the row of pins connecting the BOP to the I/O board, sometimes  get 'bent out of shape'.

As to the BOP P button, all pins look fine, buttons from the inside look good too. The BOP works great on another inverter but for some reason not on the other one. 

I am trying to think, what may be the cause here but failing...will have a 'rummage', in my head??

This sounds like a parameter thing??

Someone will come along with an idea soon I hope.

Ok, I finally figured it out.

The problem with that particular MM420 was that the system had to be off completely, where as before, it was is "stand by" mode. 

Now that the value of P1000 is changed to 1 and P1031 to 1, works great.

Good, I will remember that for next time.
