Good day ...  Im using  micromaster 440 -2ud27...

Curently we facing problem , AO922 , alarm , the hz incease and drop motor is not running , 

we check motor and cable is good , anyhow we replace new cable but still same , 

We bypass the micromaster unit and used direct the motor can run ,Then we master reset 

the unit and do resetting but still same , the motor is not runing , can anyhow hep ,  very urgent 

Reset the drive, I think you have done this, but for re do this.

Set the following, only, no other parameters!

P700 = 1

P1000 = 1

Press the keypad run button.

Increase the frequency with the up arrow.

The frequency should indicate, rising frequency.

If the drive still showing A0922, either the motor is too small, a small test motor will show this

or, it is not connected.

Star or Delta connection is this correct?

Note:

Date of manufacture was: November 2nd, 1997, Congleton UK.

Every 2 years this device should be powered to ensure the DC Link capacitors are serviceable, or a reforming procedure should be applied, see manual.

Good day sir ...  We  try as you say , but still same issue , we bought this unit in December 2020 

from supplier ,but we didnt check the manufacturing date , anyhow we did get a 2nd hand unit from 

other company and we test all working normal now , we only curious , why 2 new unit we 

bought have the issue AO992 alarm, we already ask the supplier to sent to maker and check why 

happen ?

From the manual, A0922 = No load on the inverter.

I cannot be sure what has cause the alarm in this case, as this usually shows when the motor is too small for the drive unit.

You are using Micromaster 440, which is a good and, less complicated way of replacing a drive which fails.

All inverter drives use electrolytic capacitors on the 'DC Link', as a reservoir of energy for the output stage to use for energising the motor. Capacitors age over time and, after some 2 years, on the shelf without power, need 'reforming', failure to do this can cause the capacitors to fail with a 'pop' or a 'bang'.

There is risk of purchasing inverters form an unknown source, and applies to all manufacturers as they all use electrolytic capacitors in this way.

I cannot connect the A0922 Alarm with 'DC link' capacitor failure, but there are a number of electrolytic capacitors in inverter drives which degrade, but the DC link units are the largest and most vulnerable.
