We have to perform thorough testing of Controller with Modbus TCP package and CP16-2. We have considered the architecture shown below for conducting the testing.

We will use a Modbus TCP slave simulator for the Data Concentrator. We will bypass the manageable switches and FO ring considering etc in the architecture which is not a bottle neck for the functionality testing. Our primary concern will be on H-Controller, MODBUS TCP, CP16-2 and their functionality.

The following materials are required for conducting the testing.

OpenModbusTCP Red Package (MLFB No - 2XV9 450-1MB01) is for H-stations (S7400H used.So it will be better if we can perform testing with this particular package.

1. To confirm functionality of MODBUS TCP package, to read holding and input registers as well.
2. To confirm functionality of MODBUS package as per redundancy architecture (This is the most critical testing that need to be conducted).
