Hello capraloris, As there is a sample project (good) already released for S7-300 with Comfort Panel (SIMATIC STEP 7 Professional V11 Sample project Filling Station), we need to keep our fingers crossed to get a WinCC RT Professional soon. Meanwhile, the idea of WinCC Professional project in TIA Portal v11 is like this * Create a PC Staion * Add a WinCC from SIMATIC HMI Application * Add a Communication Processor which you are using in your application. (ideally IE General if CP is not used) * For creating a HMI connection, go to Device View and then press connections * In connections choose HMI connection and then click and drag between the IE General (or CP if any used) and your PLC (Controller). - Now your HMI connection is created. * Configure the address (IP address if the communication is Industrial Ethernet) settings of the both PC and PLC. * For creating Tag, you have two options - the easy way I choose is to click and drag a PLC tag into your screen directly by splitting the work area of PLC tags and a SCADA screen. (your HMI tag and IO field will be created automatically) * Don't forget to configure the Runtime Settings (which is more or less similar to a WinCC v7 project) Provide your feedback after testing. |
