I have a strange situation that I have not experienced on a meter before:

I have a PAC3200 meter measuring the load in a customer's facility.  The power factor is between 0.6 - 0.7 (quite bad, I know).  The real power (kW) is in the range of 90 kW - 100 kW.  The apparent power (kVA) is in the range of 140 kVA to 165 kVA.  However, the reactive power (kVAR) is 0 kVAR.  It stays at 0 kVAR and does not budge even by 1 kVAR.  How is that possible?

I would very much appreciate feedback.  I am stumped.

Have you checked the PAC3200 Firmware version?

Sometimes firmware updates solve some issues.
