Problem with IM151-8 PN/DP CPU

trabde Member Joined: 9/29/2017 Last visit: 10/31/2024 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I have an ET 200S station composed of a CPU IM151-8 PN/DP and digital and analog I/O modules, my problem is with the analog modules 2AO U ST and 2AI U ST that are installed with the CPU. After loading the hardware configuration with TIA V17, the digital I/O modules work without problem, on the other hand the analog modules do not respond. No voltage (+/-10V) on the output module when varying the decimal value in the program, same problem for the input modules. The same modules work well with the CPU S7-1200 and the IM151-3 PN coupler. In this case, the IM151-8 PN/DP CPU comes with a default I/O process image size of 128 bytes and the address you are trying to access is 272...275 so the process image cannot read it. Therefore, you need to increase it to reach that number from the CPU properties > Cycle. The limit, if I remember correctly is 2048, but I recommend that you increase it by the addresses you want to read so as not to affect the duty cycle. Best regards!
