Integrating S120 Sinamics drives with the Simatic S7 Technology controller works great! I normally package up the Motion Commands into a single block to organize and sequence the PLC Open like motion commands supported by the T-CPU controller. I like to write the blocks in SCL using a State Model approach ( Case statement ) to control and report the axis state. Check out the example ( Tech315_MotionBlocks.zip ) at the following link: http://home.earthlink.net/~simslider/images/ It's best to right click on the Tech315_MotionBlocks.zipfile and select download. The 8meg file includes a user friendly HMI application ( WinCC Flexible 2007 ) demonstrating Basic, Gearing (Time Synchronized), and Camming motion blocks. I've noticed the T-CPU burps up tech error 40012 when attempting to Absolute Synchronize the slave quickly to the master. The axis remains geared or cammed even with the 40012 error. I wish the development guys would allow us to mask out the pesky 40012 faults like they do with Simotion . Let me know what you think of the example at the above link. |
