I am planning to use DDC controller and whether Siemens DDC will store 10,000 Events in the controller.

The Desigo PXC50/100/200-E.D automation stations can support up to 4.000 BACnet objects each. All of them may have an alarm status.

Please note that the target should be to transfer the alarm and event messages to an alarm receiver instead of storing the alarm and events in the controllers. Storing the events locally is useless. The alarms and events should be sent immediately to a receiver, typically a Management Station for further processing.

Desigo PXC50/100/200-E.D controllers have an alarm buffer size which can be adjusted. Default setting is 100, max. value is 500. This buffer is for situations where the alarm and event receiver is not online or not reachable. The alarms and events in the buffer will be transferred to the receiver as soon as the receiver in online again.

DDC stands for Direct Digital Control means there is difference between plc and DDC but inside of it same logical as plc but some advantage more than plc in HVAC task like live set points changing during system running mode instead of uploading program little change again and again so also more advantage for particularly  for   HVAC etc.
