Hi all, I'm specifying a system in which we consider using powercontrol, and I found some conflicting data regarding the SCADA system it'll work with. Our local salesperson and the hotline support both told me powercontrol is like a WinCC option, and will only work with WinCC. In the manual for powercontrol v2.0 (which you can check out through this link), within the technical specifications, WinCC appears in the software requirements, and all of the manual is built in the concept of using WinCC. However, on the A&D Mall website's online catalog, when you access the informations for powercontrol (which you can check out through this link), under the "Integration" tab, at the very bottom, you can read "All SIMATIC powercontrol functions in the operating and monitoring level can be integrated in all Windows-based HMI systems, e.g. WinCC, thanks to the open and standardized programming and communication structure." So.... does it work with other systems or not? Thanks in advance, Danielle |
