nicopoi Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	hello I have got a problem with my simocode pro V. I have aproximately 80 simocode in a PCS7 application. Siemens lend me an electrical cabinet to test just one motor. The problem is,i have configure all the parameters for a SMC_DIR (direct starter) that i need but when i start the motor it run only few second and immediately an alarm message appear: return feedback off.I have check all the parameters and i don't find my problem. My return feeback is connect to the current state so when the motor running its state is 1. When i put the jog-on to 1 the motor start correctly. In fact the control/command in the simocode ES need 1 state and without the jog the command only produce rise edge. So can you give me an example of a configuration of a direct starter in the soft simocode ES. I think the problem come from this. Please, I have to finish my project for the begin of the years and i can't duplicate all my simocode without find the problem. Thank you in advance

ntc77 Regular Member Joined: 11/25/2010 Last visit: 2/18/2023 Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	Dear Nicopoi If this fault u r getting on PCS7 & if u also can c Simocode triped & showing general fault LED on, then the reson may be u r trying to switch on feeder without Motor or Motor connected to feeder is under rated or check delta connection. & If fault is on PCS7 & not showing general fault on simocode then u need to connect feedback bit on simocode block. today only we found this in our ratanagiri project. Hope information is helpful to u

Valli Posts: 262 Rating: (45)	Hi, Just check Test position feedback is ON or not... If not, just "tick" in the box. Your problem will be resolved for normal Direct online application.

A french siemens technician already comes to help us but you don't find the problem. If anybody got a diagram of a direct starter or reverse( i've got both)of a Simocode pro V with a DMF-local, it will be helpful to me. Or if a specialist of simocode can give me a contact to ask him for solution. Thanks in advance

BALASUBRAMANIAN Regular Member Joined: 5/16/2012 Last visit: 9/21/2022 Posts: 12 Rating: (9)	Dear Sir, I'm not able to get your problem correctly I hope the following is your problem Whenever you are giving start command motor starting and not having any issue, even you are not getting the feedback issue too. if start command is not withstanding you are getting the issue but not suppose to get if it is so, kindly see in the SIMOCODE configuration menu, there is one maintained and non-maintained box will be there to select it accordingly.

Thanks in advance Dear nicopoi, I dont know wahat was you are phasing in it but finnd the aatached wiring drawing for same. And also note that as per my knowledge pro-v require run feedback to working continue and for this feedback you must to give contionue suplly to stop command for the same. nikivuk Advanced Member Joined: 10/10/2017 Last visit: 10/31/2024 Posts: 61 Rating: (0)	IF I have the configuration where S7 1200 or 1500 PLC isn connected to SIMOCODE PRO V DP Via profibus is it posible to connect and parametrize the SIMOCODE device with TIA portal by connecting PC to PLC Via Ethernet or I have to connect directly to SIMOCODE device Via that specialized USB connector?
