Hello Mr.Ekalavya, what about configuration for this model of Simodrive 611 ,Serial communication RS232C , is it the same PinOut and same configuration with SIMOCOM U Software ? please find attached ,, and please also how can jogging or run the motor with referance speed from SIMOCOM U software,

Hello, Yours is 611 analog drive control card & not 611U or 611D drive. Please refer below manual which will help you to understand RS232 communication. SIMODRIVE 611 analog, Transistor PWM Inverters for AC Feed Drives and AC Main Spindle Drives Hope this helps. |

From you picture --you should know--your control card IS NOT 611U but 611A spindle control. SIMOCOM U SW is ONLY FOR 611U, it cannot be used for 611A 611A Spindle control really used a PC software in 1990 (30 years ago) --see attached manual attention that sw is based on MS DOS

Dear Expert ( Mr. nulizhang ), good day to you, thank you very much, i appreciate your very useful information about the different between Simodrive modules 611U & 611A, and also the important information about this old software compatible with 611A with same look like Simatic S5 under dos, anyway i will search for it and try to communicate with the drive module to upload drive parameter, ( by the way, i am sorry i was made a new topic about my problem before see your reply , so please find my attached problem report again to support me. best regards Samir Taha aboSama.

Dear Expert, thank you very much , i got this manual and try many to jog the motor manually without any result, the motor only make vibration, also please if you have any information about the motor how to check, i just check the coil ohm about 0.8 ohm between motor phases, the motor name plate doesn't have information about motor volt.
