How are you? hope you are doing well.

i need your help please

1- i have old Siwarex M module having Hardware error as per attached picture. i need to know what is the problems and how i can solve it? its give SF led ON red, ADJ led on, ->0<- led is on??

2- i have new siwarex M module having same as above problem?!! 

3- how i can configure the M module. i connect 4 loadcell each one 1000kg, 1.996mV/V?

Hi Amr,

can you send the "Online error report" that you see in the background of your screen shot?

The hardware error indicator can have several reasons e.g. load cell broken, load cell wrong connected, internal error (Siwarex M broken) .....................................

If you look in the manual you see the asynchronous errors (chapter 11) these cause the hardware error indicator to get on. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/7787784 

In the "Online error report" you see the detailed reason.

FYI....i connecting module without S7 cpu only with PC also not connecting loadcell?

Setting functions of the DIP switch 1- Off 2- ON 3- ON 4- ON are it right?

i think i seen this error came "RAM error, checksum test" but now is not there

Hello Amr Albasuni,

I recommend you to set the DIP switchs to:
1- Off / 2- Off / 3- ON / 4- Off

=> If you don’t connect a load cell to the Siwarex M module, your error messages are normal.

thanks a lot for your help.

sorry for late reply, finally after 2 month i get new load cell .

i set DIP switches as you said above. i connected new weight cell its 4 wire.

1- all LEDs are flashing together.

2- i have those errors. when i trying Zeroing command.

Could you please help me?

Hello Amr Albasuni,

I guess that the load cell isn’t connected correctly to the Siwarex M module OR the load cell is damaged OR the Siwarex M is damaged.

Therefore I recommend you to check the load cell voltages at the Siwarex M module.

Please check:

1. EXC:

between the pins 19(+) and 20(-) at the Siwarex M module:

Which voltage (=VDC) do you measure?

2. SEN:

between the pins 15(+) and 16(-) at the Siwarex M module:

Which voltage (=VDC) do you measure?

3. SIG:

between the pins 17(+) and 18(-) at the Siwarex M module.

Here pay attention that the sign of the voltage (=mVDC) is very important.

The voltage can be positive or negative!

Which voltage (=mVDC) do you measure?

Which sign (positive or negative) do you have?

my loadcell is 4 wires not 6 wires.

1- +10.41 VDC

2- +10.41 VDC

3- +4.7 VDC... nothing mVDC its showing in VDC 4.7 positive ...
