bergmanu Platinum Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 11/5/2024 Posts: 3345 Rating: (379)	Here are some Intel repositories, which are suitable for the IOT2000. src iotdk-all http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/all src iotdk-i586 http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/i586 src iotdk-quark http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/quark src iotdk-x86 http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/x86 This text has to be added to /etc/opkg/iotdk.conf These repositories are not tested regarding any unexpected influences to the system; use them on your own risk!
	Not working for IOT2050 support anymore from March 1st, 2024. I really enjoyed the time supporting you! :)

Jorsal Posts: 74 Rating: (31)	I finally received my IOT2040 today (I have been waiting for being able to order it since I saw it at the Hannover Messe half a year ago!), and now I have it up and running, being able to SSH into it remotely. I checked the OPKG repositiories supplied here, but haven't been able to find any SQL or VPN-like applications: root@iot2000:~# opkg update Downloading http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/all/Packages. Updated source 'iotdk-all'. Downloading http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/i586/Packages. Updated source 'iotdk-i586'. Downloading http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/quark/Packages. Updated source 'iotdk-quark'. Downloading http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/2.0/iotdk/x86/Packages. Updated source 'iotdk-x86'. root@iot2000:~# opkg list \| grep -i sql root@iot2000:~# opkg list \| grep -i vpn Both returns nothing. I am in particular looking for MySQL or PostgreSQL server and OpenVPN. Do I have to build them manually if I want them? Or do you know of any other repositiories? Have you considered testing with Snappy Ubuntu Core? A lot of additional software is available for that platform, and the community is large (including Raspberry Pi)

This will be fixed in the next version of our SD-Card Example Image. The next step is required for almost all packages included in this repositories! Please go to /etc/opkg and edit the "arch.conf" file as follows: Add the bold lines to the file: arch all 1 arch any 6 arch noarch 11 arch i586 12 arch quark 13 arch x86 14 arch i586-nlp-32 16 arch i586-nlp-32-intel-common 21 arch iot2000 26 After that you should see some entries with "opkg list \| grep -i sql" But I cannot find any VPN packages within this opkg repositories. I will have a look if I can find any other suitable repositories. If there is no, I think you have to build it on your own. At the time there are no plans to include a Snappy Ubuntu Core. I hope this helps you for now!

The procedure described in this thread is still valid and must be do also with Image version 2.1.3 ? Thanks
