How can I set time and timezone in IOT2000 ?

Can IOT2000 switch between summer and winter time ?

Hi,

you can set the time with the following command:

date MMDDhhmmYYYY 

(e.g. date 112009152017)

 This is for the software time. 

To set the hardware clock oyu have to do the command

hwclock--systohc--utc

 after the first one. This is for setting the time as UTC time. 

The files for timezone setting are not available at the moment on the example image V2.1.3. 

With the image V2.1.4 these files are included as well as a NTP client.

Hi,

here is a little node for setting time and date via ntp server.

For install, copy folder node-red-contrib-iot2000-time in zip file

to /usr/lib/node_modules in IOT2000 and restart node-red.

For work, you must have a working internet connection on IOT2000 or a ntp server on local LAN.

The node must triggered with a inject node for update.
