USE 2 CU320 with S7300 CPU

Bonsai72 Advanced Member Joined: 2/12/2008 Last visit: 8/2/2024 Posts: 70 Rating: (0)	Hello I have a configuratione with 1 PLC S7-300 (cpu 313C-2DP) ad 2 CU S120 (6SL3040-0xA00-...). It is first time for me this configuration with 2 CU modules. I have a problem to read and write parameter to the axis. I'm using SFB53 and SFB54. The problem is that in a CU I can read parametres, but i can't write, in the other one I can write but I can't read (very strange). Is it correct use SFB53 and SFB54? Do I have to observe some particular rule in the ID or PEW/PAW address? Thanks

Dave Posts: 271 Rating: (29)	Hello Bonsai72, I suggest that you consider using the S120 Toolbox which should work nicely for you: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/25166781 I suggest that you try connecting up to one CU320 at a time and verify that you have your Profibus nodes and addresses set correctly. Then move on to connecting up both CU320's. Hope this helps...
