sunn7 Posts: 152 Rating: (2)	Hello, I need to configure SIMCODE DP (3UF50.1-3....0-1) GSD file: SIEM8031.GSE but i dont have library in my PCS 7 V7.0, can anybody tell me where i can find in Internet software/library for that? Thanks in advance, cheers sunil

If you need software to configure the Simocode-DP, you will need to contact a Siemens rep:

3UF5711-0AA00-0	WIN-SIMOCODE-DP/SMART PARAMETERIZATION AND SERVICE SOFTWARE FOR SIMOCODE-DP (3UF5) INTERFACE: RS232, RUNNABLE ON PU/PC WITH WIN 95/98/2000/ME/XP OR WIN NT 4.X DELIVERY: CD, SINGLE-LICENSE

Look for the differences in the software packages and more technical infoon this site:

Briefly, the essential difference between the 2 packages is in communications between the PC and the Simocode: the Smart package gives access through RS-232, the Professional package alsoallows connection over profibus-DPV1. See attached document.

Same for the PCS7 function blocks:
