Hello,

I recently updated my HMI panel fromWinCC Unified V19 version 2 to version 3. I downloaded the corresponding .fwf file and loaded it to the HMI using a USB flash drive.

However, inTIA Portal, the HMI device still shows version 2, and I am unable to update it. When I try to add a new HMI device and change the version,version 3 does not appearin the device list—onlyV19 UP0is available.

I also tried reverting my HMI back toUP2 and using it in that version. However, when I upload my HMI project to the device, it automatically loads UP3again before deploying the project.

Could you please advise on how to properly reflect the updated firmware version in TIA Portal and ensure it is recognized correctly, or how to maintain the HMI at a specific version?

redarding Device Updates od HMIs there is not always a new Device Version in TIA Portal settings for every Image Version for the Panels.

Only if there are implemented new features that have an influence also the engineering sytem there is a new Device Version to select in TIA.

On the Panel there has to be at least the in TIA Selected Version but you can also use a newer Update version.

For example if an Update do only have bugfixes there is no new Device Image Version in TIA.

So in your case you cannot change to a newer V19 Device Version as V19.0.0.2 

-> ALSO if there is a newer V19.0.0.3 Image for the Panels available -> so this is a normal behaviour
