I have a OP17 and I have the configuration software in protool.

The OP17 is connected to S5 PLC using FAP driver.

I want to migrate to a newer KP700 and I will get an adapter to change from RS422 to tty.

But when I try to migrate in WinCC flexible, I get an error message that migration failed because FAP driver is no longer supported.

How can I migrate the HMI an achieve communication with the S5 PLC?

which S5 do you have?

I would use the AS511-interface at the CPU.

Please look at this communication manual there is a description of the communications between S5 and the panels.
