Hi,

i have a problem with PLC Sim on my virtual machine Vmware windows 10 .

I installed Step7 5.6 version, when i try to download the blocks on the simulation cpu i get this msg:

I also checked the parameters in Set PG/PC Interface and is as follow image

I have another laptop with Win10 installed (no with virtual machine) and on that it works;

Can somebody help?

I recomend to check the required settings in the VMware dialog. After you have opened STEP 7 V5.6 and your project in the virtual machine you must enable (set a check mark) the following options for your online connection in the VMware dialog.

1. Open the "Virtual Machine Settings" dialog with the menu command "Player > Manage > Virtual Machine Settings".
2. Then, in the "Hardware" tab, you click "Network Adapter" and enable the following options in the right window:

• Connected
• Connect at power on
• Bridged: Connected directly to the physical network
• Replicate physical network connection state

1. Click the "Configure Adapters" button and enable your network connection, "Intel(R)82574L LM Gigabit Network Connection", for example.
2. Confirm the setting with OK and close the "Virtual Machine Settings" dialog with OK.

 I cannot find this setting in my vmware:

Still i tried and i cannot download to Plc Sim

The different connection Type in Plc Sim looks grey and not enable:
