rm07uq Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	hello everyone, i guess i will require value input on this one also... i will have a pressure switch and would like to use its (2 x digital outputs).... the circuit of the pressure switch is attached within... would like the digital outputs from the pressure switch to trigger an output via logo... therefore 1) i connection each digital output from pressure switch into my logo input..Right?? 2) "load" as shown in the picture is my logo input..?? which one would be appropriate..NPN or PNP... Notice, you needa logo with powerd by the same power as the pressureswitch. I think al the things are 24VDC, so your logo must by a 24 VDC type Your pressure switsch has also an 4-20 mA Output? Buy a LOGO! AM2 extensionunit, then you can connect that signal to your LOGO! and use the signal for displaying the pressure en use the LOGO as a swischt for a lot of thinks lika In/Out pomp Alarm Hih and Low pressue etc

rm07uq Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	thank you, iam glad i asked... will buy the PNP version.. yes you are right my logo is 12/24 RCo. will connect the pressure switch to the same power block. i bought 2 DM8 ext units... thought of using the 2 x digital outputs from pressure switch to triger events in logo...

P.E. use I7 as an analog input. You can connect it directly, but need a resistor of 500 Ohm. Connect the analog output of the sensor to I7 (or i8). Connect the resistor 500 Om between the Analog input (i7) and de - of teh power. Then the output snsor 4 - 20 mA becomes an analog value in the LOGO van 2 - 10 Volt. That signal you can use to display and switching.
