Hi dchartier, I have a few Modbus devices from various suppliers, including the PAC3100 (Siemens), UPS, and PM710 (Schneider), all of which use Modbus RTU. I'm curious about the transmission speeds between the CP341 and 1SI modules. I noticed that the CP341 supports 16 bytes, while the 1SI supports 32 bytes. Additionally, I believe the CP341 can be configured for either Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII, depending on the license we purchase, correct? Meanwhile, the 1SI seems to support only Modbus RTU. You mentioned that technically both modules can connect to 32 Modbus RTU devices, so I’m trying to understand the rationale behind choosing the CP341 over the 1SI, especially since the latter is more affordable and offers similar capabilities. Could you clarify this for me? Also, for those in the automation industry looking to improve their reach, collaborating with a reputable lead generation company can make a significant difference. Thanks! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
