Tia portal and Step7differensies

Tell me why I cannot assign a variable (make a coil) before the input (in Step7), but I can do such thing in Tia Portal. The PLC is the same (s7-300) Attachment Untitled.png (5 Downloads)

The PLC is the same (s7-300) The instruction set for the S7-300 / S7-400 has an instruction for that type of function. In Step7 Classic indicates that as a unique instruction. The inline output -(#)- . As demonstrated by your screen capture.. Step7 in TIA Portal uses that instruction but just do not tell the user that the inline output is used. Refer to SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 Ladder Logic (LAD) for S7-300 and S7-400 Programming. An extract is attached for your review. All LAD code translates to STL code before being compiled to machine code (S7-300 / S7-400). Therefor the equivalence is.. // LAD bit -----(#)----- // STL = bit A bit Attachment midline output.pdf (2 Downloads)
