There was a torque setting on the GE drives that was set down to 86%. I believe this was done because of the excessive load on the motor causing over current. The GE drive operates fine and the current seems to stay below motor nameplate (28.7A)

I purchased Siemens SED2 drives to replace these, and there does not seem to be a parameter that can be set to limit the torque produced. Under the direction of tech support...I have tried adjusting some settings... boost, linear V/f, etc. But the motor accelerates to about 46Hz then hits A501 (current limit) and will not continue. There are some torque settings P1500 - 1525 but I can't find any documentation that covers these.
