135U using DB RAM

Fiona Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello, I am working on a 135U 928B-3UB21, which has very little free memory. I understand I should be able to move my data blocks to DB-RAM. I have seen a couple of FAQs, and followed the suggestions in FAQ no 142371,but have not had any success yet with achieving an increase in memory available for program blocks (as determined by the high frequency of compresses still required). Currently I have the following code in the first segment of an FB which is the first block called in OB1: L KM 00000000 00000001 T RS144 Can anyone help me with this? thanks, Fiona

If you want to try if the blocks are going to the data ram, you can load the program first and at the end if all PB, FB, FX and OB are loaded start with the datablocks (DX and DB). When everything is loaded you may look with STEP5 how many blocks are in the DB-RAM. If you then loading the DB's again until the CPU (STEP5) is asking to compress the data then you know that the datablocks as far as that is possible are in the DB RAM. Please don't say now compress because the datablocks will start to be placed in the normal RAM again... [:o] So didn't go any further with loading the datablocks and give by your self the command to compress the memory. When you look then where the blocks are, you may also see how many bytes you have for the programm left. [;)]
