Danielinpayatronico Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi: I have a industrial problem, there is a servovalve Schneider Kreuznach HVM 090 that have a input signal of -10/+10 Vdc that needs al least 2.7 Watts. I'm using a s7-1200 PLC with a 14 bits 2 analog outputs card that have only 80mA of controlled output, so... ¿is there a way to increase this current with another siemens modular or external element? Thanks.

Danielinpayatronico Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Well, I attach a PDF servovalve manual in this response, if you see i have the servovalve without the electronic part so... i need 2.7W at least. I know that I can purchase the electronic part but the servovalve vendor is little dificult to find but here in Ecuador usualy buy control equipments from Siemens so I think that could be more easy. Input signal: -10V ... 0,0 ... +10V Input resistance: 100 kohm " 10V / 100 kohm = 0,1 mA -> ok. 350mA * 18V = 8.4W (max), but from power supply.

Danielinpayatronico Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	No, excuse me, maybe I'm not so clear, I have the servovalve without the electronic part, I have the first specification chart in the PDF file, the one that explain the power needed to function in serial mode, parallel mode and etc. I have not the electronic part, I can't connect any 24Vdc power supply. It's the "3.1 electrical data without electronic" chart that I mean.

In this context, really your S7-1200 could not drive too high current (it is limited to something like 10mA). Siemens has a interface converter: 3RS1700-2AD08-0AC0 INTERFACE CONVERTER 0-10V/0-10V UC24V http://support.automation.siemens.com/BR/view/en/26365212/td however I don't think that it could drive so high current too. Maybe is wold be better to use a servovalve with eletronic.

Danielinpayatronico Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Thanks again, its a fine idea but waht about the negative part? my analog output needs a -10/+10 Vdc so I have these other product: http://www.quanser.com/net/industrial/Systems_and_Products/Prod_Linear_Current_Amp.aspx and that is the main idea. is there a similar product in Siemens catalog that I can buy for my problem?
