Hello Shazeel; Your prblem is not exactly clear to us. You say you have connection between one PLC and one operator panel over Profibus. So far so good. You have 2 more PLCs, correct? What do you want to do now? 1- Connnect all 3 PLCs to the operator panel? Simple, establish 3 different connections in the WinCC Flexoible program, one for each PLC (each witrh a different Profibus address), link the tags for each PLC independantly and create your screens. What is the maximum number of simultaneously active controller connections you can configure for a panel?http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26435768 2- Connect the 3 PLCs to the operator panel with a single connection (helpful if the 3 PLC programs are identical, with the same tag names): How can you use one and the same WinCC flexible operator panel configuration for multiple controllers?http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/37577813 3- Do you want the 3 PLCs to exchange data between each other over the Profibus link? Then the easieast solution is to have one as profibus master and the other 2 as Profibus slaves: Try this FAQ (even though the master here is a S7-400, the same configuration applies for a S7-300 master): DP link between CPU 315-2DP (slave) and S7-400 (master) with STEP 7 V5.3 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/6518822

Hi, I'm controling the functions of a light matrix with the PLC S7-300. Controlling one system is not a problem but my other task is to communicate three PLCs through Master-Slave connections using a PROFIBUS-DP connection. After following the link that you mentioned in the links, I was able to connect two PLCs in a Master-Slave connections. The problem is when i try to do the configurations, I don't know how to configure the Inputs and Outputs for the PLCs so they can talk to each other. The Inputs and Outputs of the light matrix are: Input: I124.0 - I124.2 (On button, Off button, Pause button) Output: Q124.0 - Q125.5 I'm controlling the lights through a simple ladder program. I have uploaded the pictures of how i created the master and slave stations. Can you please tell me how to configure the inputs and outputs. PS: both light matrices have the same inputs and outputs addresses but i don't think that should matter.
