vipz Gold Member Joined: 9/2/2012 Last visit: 8/15/2024 Posts: 711 Rating: (30)	Hello, am also converting one HMI OP177B which is communicating to D445 To KP700 Comfort. project is integrated project with step7, scout v4.2, wincc flex 2008 sp2. Now need to migrate only HMI to new. LAPTOP1-> STEP7,WINCC FLEXIBLEm2008 sp3, WINCC COMFORT v13 sp1, SIMOTION SCOUT V4.4 LAPTOP2-> STEP7, WINCC FLEXIBLE 208 sp3, WINCC ADVANCE V13 SP1, SIMOTION SCOUT TIA V 4.4.0.5 Using laptop1, opened wincc flexible project, used copy from step7 and separated HMI project. it was showing error @ place of connection about simotion. Simotion integrated backup is with V4.2; Updated to simotion version v4.4 with laptop1. Then copied project to laptop2. also the separated HMI project. Migrated the Separated HMI project to TIA using laptop2. Added device proxy in the migrated project. While doing initialize(by browsing .mcp file from V4.4 backup's U7 folder), getting error as attached. Do i need to install both stand alone and TIA scout in same laptop or am missing something else ? also any additional plug in software for scout migration required ? kindly suggest ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from what is the difference between scout TIA and scout stand alone?. ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 10/22/2024 Posts: 22431 Rating: (3029)	Hello, if you use both in the same version then there is no compatibility problem. the latest versions you can download here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109480713 If you must use the device Proxy there is no other solution. A migration of he whole project is only possible if you use a SIMOTION D which is supported in the Scout TIA (D4x5-2) Regards Christoph

Have you copy the complete project to the system or only the u7 folder? And which Versions of Scout TIA and Scout you have installed? The following requirements must be met in order for you to use Comfort Panels in SIMOTION SCOUT: ● You have installed TIA Portal as of V13 and the SIMOTION SCOUT TIA V4.4 option package to use Comfort Panels ● You have installed the SIMOTION SCOUT software package as of V4.4 and therefore also SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 SP4 (but at least SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.5 SP1). ● You are using a SIMOTION C, P or D module version as of V4.3. ● When Comfort Panels are used, WinCC Comfort, WinCC Advanced or WinCC Professional as of V13 must be installed. ● For the migration of an integrated HMI project, SIMATIC WinCC flexible 2008 SP3 Update 3 must also be installed as a minimum. ● The same firmware version must be installed on all controllers involved. I have raised the SR , they have told to change the firmware of simotion minimum to 4.3. After that could able to initialise the device proxi... Now almost all problems solved except 8 numbers of tag error. For that am in touch with hotline. Do you have the setup to check the backup ? So that I can share the project..

Initially after Changing the CPU firmware to v4.3, some task were not compiled. After compiling it becomes OK. Thank you for the support and suggestions.. BEWARE:- YOU NEED TO UPGRADE THE SIMOTION TOO ( NOT ONLY THE OFFLINE PROJECT, ACTUAL CONTROLLER TOO)
