If you use the print button in the Control (in the screen) then there dislayed data from the Control are sent to the layout you have defined in the settings of the Control (by default its a default one).

If you just start a printjob with this exact same layout then there are no data in it because the control will not send it...

If you want to use a script to run a global report (not with the button or funktion from the Control in the screen) then you have to create an own layout and use the dynamisation of the control in the layout to set which data should be used in the report (you can use dynamic parameters or use fixes values). Often you have to use string tags to dynamise the properties of the control in the layout

no only the ones you need for the dynamization of your control in the Report. the most ones you can define with a fixed value in report designer. Only the properties you want to change in RT you have to dynamise
