          We have two S7-400 PLC that CPU 416-2DP . I have doubt in the FC and FB calling OB-1. My Project details,

CPU-1(LINE)  :   The CPU-1 using lot of FC and FB, but only FC is Called in the OB-1. FB is not called in the OB-1.

CPU-2(STACKER)  : The CPU-2 using Lot of FC and FB, but only FB is Called in the OB-1. FC is not called in the OB-1.(only three FC is called in OB-1).

I can create new FB and FC in the both CPU, that new FB and FC not going to online mode. Pop up message displayed as block not found.

Now I  created new FB and FC is called in the OB-1. Now  it's going to online mode.

My doubt is

1.How that uncalled FB and FC is going to online mode in my Project?

2. in case create new FB and FC must or necessary need to call in OB-1 ?

For better understanding of my doubt here I attached the file.

 In short:

 If STEP 7 says "block not found " is because it is not loaded into the CPU , if a FB or an FC is not called in OB1 is because it will be called from another FC or FB , the UC calls of FB means a recall without parameters , maybe it's best that you read this manual:

 Have a look like chapter 4.2 and 4.2.2 for Hierarchy block and so on:

1. Yes (and No) it will work, if you not call FC or FB in OB1 will be recalled under another FC or FB right? Or in OB35.

Exception that in your program have OB35

2. No you have to call this FC or FB or in OB1 or under another FC or FB (nesting depth)

On page 8 (where there FB30) from your attachment go below on the left where is Cal... Click on and you will see where the FC or FB is called in the program. In this windows the FC and FB with black cross is not called in the program.

Your OB35 is 2936 Byte other FC or FB are called in this OB surely

                    I cross referenced the FB-30, it's called in FC-72 and FC-221. In my program OB-35 is used. But FB-30 is not called in OB-35 and OB-1. here i attached the file for better understanding.

Open FB30 then go below on the left in the three and press " Cal... " you will find where FB30 is called,

                   pls go through my first post already I mentioned lot of fc and fb used it, but some fc and fb not called in ob-1.how it's working and going to online monitoring mode.                    The whole program is not possible to send it because it's size is 900Mb. so I sent it that OB-1 print screen.
