I have an incremental encoder DC25F-B1PRGDS AMCI which gives me the output of each channel 4.5VDC. I have to I have to adapt him to give me 15 VDC output to each channel?.

The following are the new SIMATIC S7-1200 signal boards:

• SB 1221 DC 200kHz, 4x 5VDC input 200kHz
• SB1222 DC 200kHz, 4x 5VDC output 200kHz *
• SB 1223 DC 200kHz, 2x 5VDC input 200kHz / 2x 5VDC output 200kHz *
• SB 1221 DC 200kHz, 4x 24VDC input 200kHz
• SB 1222 DC 200kHz, 4x 24VDC output 200kHz *
• SB 1223 DC 200kHz, 2x 24VDC input 200kHz / 2x 24VDC output 200kHz *

As listed above, there are 24V DC version for HTL signals for connection to standard industrial sensors and actuators and 5V DC versions for TTL signals for connection to sensors providing 5V DC signals, i.e. encoders for connection to actuators requiring 5V DC signals, i.e. stepper motors and servo drives.

*200Khz only for PWM configured outputs, 100kHz PTO max output

Benefits of these new signal boards are:

• The ability to add additional general purpose DC I/O to the CPU without changing the physical dimensions of the CPU - this saves cost and space for the customer when only a couple additional I/O is required
• The ability to add 2 Pulse Output channels on Relay Output CPU models using a Signal Board for either PTO or PWM requirements
• The ability to have additional High Speed Counters (HSCs) on the smaller CPUs (1211C, 1212C)
• The ability to implement HSCs up to 200kHz (single phase) and 160kHz (quadrature phase) with the Signal Board inputs
