Pls do needful Hello, Please follow instructions in the attached "protool.pdf" file of the following FAQ: How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? And then you will need to restore your project on the panel: How do you backup/restore with a Windows-based panel? Or develop a new project from scratch. Hope this helps.

You will have to perform an OS update with the option "Booting" or "Reset to factory settings" The Image is part of Protool software or WinCC flexible software. Best regards, Wizard

arumugashankar Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	I hope we can update OS if possible we have to put our HMI in transfer mode and corresponding communication protocol ( either profibus, mpi, or ethernet) to be selected. For that start screen has to come in HMI so that we can put it in transfer mode. But my problem in HMI start screen itself not coming. Then how come I update my OS

In your case you don't have any optionsfor communication. For this reason, and as mentioned in the documments attached in the following FAQ, "*If you reset the operating system to the factory settings, you cannot use all the communication connections and cables.* " How do you do an "Operating system update" (OS update) or "Reset to factory settings" on operator panels? For your case, you have to use zero-modem cable to reset the MP370 to factory setting. And if you do not have this cable, you can build it yourself. Hope this helps.
