P340 Automatic calcutation in STARTER

Pablo Member Joined: 10/21/2005 Last visit: 10/30/2024 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear Sirs, I am commissioning a G150 FW5.2 drive with Starter 5.4 through the Configuration/Configure DDS menu of the DO Vector in offline mode. Once the configuration of the motor in offline mode was completed, I observed in the offline expert list, that the automatic calculation P340=1 was activated. When I transfer this configuration to the drive, I observe that the automatic calculation (P340->0) goes back to zero and it appears that the motor parameters are calculated, but this is not the case. When from the online expert list I manually set P340=1, I observe that some motor values change online in the drive and it makes me think that when I transferred from offline to online with P340=1 activated it was not executed correctly. The list of reference and lock parameters is empty. For example parameters P341 and motor weight P344, etc were modified. Where is the problem? B.R. Pablo

Wenn running through the commissioning wizard aquestion appears (offline) , whether the motor data shall be calculated. May be this radio button was not set correctly. In P3925 it can be checked, whether the complete calculation has been carried out. The reference parameters cn be excluded from the automatical calculation.

Pablo Member Joined: 10/21/2005 Last visit: 10/30/2024 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear Team, Thank you for your prompt response, I have verified in STARTER that both online and offline P3925[0].0 is active at 1 (P340=1 or P3900>1). After completing the offline Wizard of the motor when you transfer the parameters to the drive, you notice that you must manually execute P340=1 since there are certain motor data that were not modified with the download, for example P341 and P344, etc. Attached is the list of parameters that differ online-offline with manual online activation of P340=1. Could it be that when the Starter transfers the parameters to the drive with P340=1 activated, the drive calculates the mathematical model only with the values up to P340 and the values located above this number, for example P341, P344, etc. are ignored? Do I have to run online manually P340=1 or P10=1->p3900=3 to be sure of loading the model? The motor is a 1NA1458-6AC00-0AA0 (1MW-690Vac) and the drive is a G150. There you can determine whether the motor data schall be calculated also depending on the motors data sheet data 2. Also the motor identification can be pre selected ahead before download. Link: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109783265 After download to the drive, the calculation happens automatically and the p340 steps back to zero and r3925 bit zero has to change to 1. The minimum required data for the calculation are the Motors name plate data. The Mot ID has to be initiated manually either by the drives control panel or the control of the gear (consider the safety issues to avoid an accident). Depending on the bit 14 in r3925 the first switch on is the mot ID selected in the wizard. Unfortunately I haven't a G150 available to check each step. In my oppinion the important hint is, to put in the estimated cable resistance in p0352 before carrying out the MotID at stand still.
