Am also facing same sort of problem.

Am trying to replace cu320 with a cu320-2dp module.

Am having starter which worked fine with cu320.

But after replacement starter is not detecting cu320-2dp in accessible nodes. if i roll back to cu320 everything works normal.

i checked

 set pg/pc interface profibus.( bus in diagnostics it says not node found on the network)

access point as -device

SSPs are installed ( including the version its matching)

My total system is 

1.S7 300 plc 

On this PLC profibus n/w it got

   a. two position encoders.

   b. one s120 drive with cu320

2. for cu320 one incremental encoder for speed control with SMC Card.

wjich profibus adapter you use?
Is opnly the PC and CU320 connected on the profibus?

Have you try to find it with Ethernet? (CU320-2 Interface X127)

Am using Siemens S7 pc adapter USB a2 cable.

Total system is.

1. One s7 300 Plc

2. CU 320 -2DP with one incremental encoder (using Smc 30)

3. Two sick absolute encoders.

All are on profibus of S7 300.

Since PLC is not detecting CU320, removed CU320 from profibus and connected directly using PG with starter.

Still I cannot find it in accessible nodea in starter.

if you connect the CU320-2 directly to the pc you mus set the option"Only master on the bus" in the properties of the PC Adapter.

How are the LED State of the CU?
Which CF you use which FW?
