Can anyone help me with a Sm@rtClient?

I would like to monitor my HMI Panel in my phone.

TIA Portal: I have checked: Services -> Remote control -> Start Sm@rtServer

After downloading HMI to device, I receive a license error "WinCC Runtime: License key not available!: WinCC Sm@rtServer for SIMATIC Panel" (I have attached the list of my licenses because I am not sure are those enough?).

HMI Panel: There are some kind of an options in my HMI Panel -> Control Panel -> WinCC Internet Settings -> Remote -> Change settings, but I have no clue which options should I use, so a little help would be appreciated.

After I have set something I got an error: "The remoting server needs a restart. Should this happen automatically?" If i click Yes,  I got an error: "Error: Stopping of remote service failed with ERROR 0x1"

Phone: I also downloaded SIMATIC WinCC Sm@rtClient Lite (maybe later the full version) into my phone. Because I have a Lite version, I can't use Autodetect for searching my HMI. So I don't know which setting should I use. What I have tried:

Machine name: TP700 Comfort Panel (Should this be something specific)

Server URL: **HMI IP address** (what is this?)

Port: as a default: 5900 (this I can set in HMI settings?)

Password: Should this be the password which I set in HMI Panel?

With these settings I got a message in my phone: "Connection Failed: Connection has timed out"

I have now done everything according to tutorial and link you send but I'm unable to connect via my phone.

I set all the passwords to default "100" and created a Sm@rtClient View window into my HMI screen. Nothing seems to work. It's probably an incorrect setting somewhere.

I still get the License key not available -error in my panel.

Is there any other, maybe more specific help available? Or is it the lack of license which is causing this?

I tested the Sm@rtClient application with my PC and it seems to work (I can control my PC via phone). Then I used the same settings in my HMI Panel (WinCC Internet Settings -> Remote) as I used in my PC. But why I am not able to connect to my HMI Panel?

Not sure am I able to start the Sm@rtServer in my HMI Panel because I got an error message after it tries to reboot: "Error: Stopping of remote service failed with ERROR 0x1"

I attached my TIA settings.

Is it enough that I have a license in my PC, or should I import it somehow into my HMI Panel?

Hello K!ke and thank you for the reply,

I tried to do that "Online > HMI device maintenance > Authorize/license".

Before it were loaded, I received an error "The Automation License Manager Service" has not been started! Please start the Service", although it was running on the background.

After that error, I was unable to access into my PLC code (Main, data blocks...) and received an another error: "The licensing of STEP 7 Professional could not be completely finished because the Automation License Manager Service is not running."

Now I am not able to start the ALM at all.

I had to re-install the whole ALM program and after accomplished, I gave it another try to load the license into my HMI Panel but got the exactly same error. Now I have to re-install it again?

Why I am not able to load it?

I am not able to set HMI to online at all, maybe that is the problem why I can't use License update for HMI panel? Is this because my HMI panel is connected to CPU port 2? (PC -> CPU port 1)

I am still able to use Extended download to device, because there is an option to use "1st gateway".

When I try to Extended go online, there isn't that option?

Hello,

I have now imported the licenses into my HMI Panel, I won't get any license-errors anymore.

I'm still unable to connect my phone to the panel.

When I try manually to stop and start the Sm@rtServer from my panel, I receive an error: "Error: Stopping of remote service failed with ERROR 0x1"

I used these settings in my phone:

Server URL: 192.168.1.11 (HMI panel IP)

Port: 5900

Password: 100 (same as in panel settings)

Does it affect that I have a router between my PC and CPU?

PC -> Router -> CPU -> HMI
