Hi gerard32, Please see my earlier post on this same issue.... /tf/WW/en/Posts/110297#top Like ChristophD has already stated, I believe that the problem may be caused by having USB 3.0 ports on your laptop. My Dell Precision M4800 came equiped with only 3.0 ports (and they look no different than 2.0 ports!). The only way to get around this was via the BIOS. A screen shot is supplied in the link above. Hi, have you already installed and thest the latest SP for Step7? The SP4 you can download here. Do you use the cables which are delivered with the adapter (USB and MPI) or other cables? Regards Christoph |
