I found this forum while trying to download the font you are talking about.

According to the manual on the download link, for V16, i am supposed to get a Font.ttf file, which i can use to insert the font into my program.

However when i download this link im only getting a library and not the font.

Do you happen to have the file that i need, or perhaps an answer to what im doing wrong?

The TIA Portal generally does not save fonts within projects.

During the compilation process, the Windows system fonts will be packed into the data downloaded to the device. However, this recoverable data may be chosen to be discarded during project archiving. Even if this project were not chosen, there is still the issue that the font files for WinCC Comfort/Advanced are compressed into the proprietary, closed Siemens FWC file format.

As far as I can tell, the project only uses the "Siemens Sans" and "Siemens TIA Portal Icons" fonts. These fonts are installed when the TIA Portal is installed.

The behavior is slightly different for a WinCC Unified device. Instead of being packed into a closed file format, the font file is loaded as a TrueType (TTF) or Web Open Font Format (WOFF2) file. However, only one font style will be exported, and it should be the regular style.
