The problem is that the alarm control window is not connecting to data server in client computer in runtime but contected to server computer why is this so? do have any idea? Regards Ritesh

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, In client server environment you set the server up to retrieve all data out of e.g. plc's. This data is also used as trigger for the alarms in the alarm logging. This alarm logging is done on the server computer. This client only retrieves all data from the server (but doen't generates it's own alarms. That's why he connects to the server. Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	And you shouls also notice that "Tag Logging" won't be found on the clients either, since all the archiving is made on the server! As Ikkezelf said, you should configure your tags, alarms and all archiving on the server, and when youcreate the server data, the clients which load it will be able to use it all.
