problem with install wincc v6 demo version

froggyboy Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	dear all, I have dvd demo version wincc v6, when i install the software, before finishing appear information "licensing could not performed" after that wincc will be removed/uninstall, i think this problem same with ahmed, please anybody help me..... cheers WS [:cry:] [:P] [:cry:]

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, During installation you get a question "Would you like to perform installation of licenses now?" or something similar. You should check the option "No, Later". That could be the problem.

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, I tried it here, and when you get the window about the license check, you should also have the option to UNcheck a checkbox called something like: "Transform license check automatically". Be sure to disable this checkbox before pressing <next>. Tell us if this works for you. with regards, Ikkezelf

froggyboy Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	dear bro this step i install wincc v6: * install message queuing (normal) * install sql server 2000 sp3 (normal) * install security patch (appear firewall must deactive manual) * install wincc v6 demo version & demo project (no option for transform license automatically or similar like that, just change directory only, so install like 1 package has 17 component and at install 15/16 of component appear "licensing could not performed" and installing stop and removed alll files again) my PC: acer aspire 1640 (notebook) 1,7 GHz centrino 512 Mb RAM vga 128 intel hardisk 60 Gb dvd rw asus i'm very.......confused..... i'm stupid froggy......wuebek..... thanks before best regards ws

Salma Gold Member Joined: 9/27/2005 Last visit: 11/27/2007 Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	I believe there was a faulty batch of demo CDs, maybe you have one of these ? I would recommend you contact your local Siemens supplier and request the latest Demo DVD and try that first. Ribbit [:D]
