Dear Sirs Now we have a problem of the Homing function with SIMATIC Microbox PC 420-T, MASTERDRIVES_MC, Machine_encoder and Standard telegram_6. The detail system configurations are below and attached. <Configuration> => SIMATIC Microbox PC 420-T => MASTERDRIVES MC_plus Ver.2.4, CBP2+SBP+SBM2 => DPV2_3.0ms, Standard telegram 6 => Machine encoder: HTL_2048ppr (A,B,Zero) => Motor : 1FT6, Motor_encoder : ERN1387 => Rotary axis with modulo (0-360 degree) => Homing mode : Encoder_Zero mark only => Gear ratio 30:1 (motor_shaft : machine encoder) => name of T.O. : Axis_5_SPINDLE => name of Drive Object : S_SPINDLE <Way to connection of the Machine encoder and 420-T> Machine_encoder:TTL2048 => DTI_X401 => DTI_X403 => SBP_slotB => MDMC-plus => Standard telegram_6 => MicroBox_420T <Problem> We cannot complete (finish) the Homing operation with encoder zero mark only of the a.m. Axis_5_SPINDLE. The Axis_5_SPINDLE keeps rotating at the approach speed when the Homing function beginning is executed by Control_panel. I checked the Zero-pulse signal at the terminal-X401/72 on the SBP with the oscilloscope, and confirmed 13.75V pulse. I think Zero-pulse is O.K. Of cause, I checked A and B pulse signal also by the oscilloscope, all pulse signals are O.K. And we could positioning operation with relative command (e.g. 90degree, 180degree, 360degree) by Control panel. Only Homing function can not be done with machine encoder and standard_telegram_6 by the Axis_5_SPINDLE. We have 13-axis total in the project. Other 12-axis could Homing function without problem. However, those 12-axis dose not use machine encoder, only have the motor encoder with standard_telegram_5. It is using motor encoder for Homing, positioning. And Homing mode is BERO+encoder_Zero mark. How should we solve that Homing problem with machine encoder. Pls. check my project and setting parameters of T.O.: Axis_5_SPINDLE and D.O.: S_SPINDLE in attached. Pls. tell me the define parameters MASTERDRIVES MC with Machine encoder of T.O. and D.O. for 1.) Homing encoder zero mark only, 2.) Homing external zero mark only (Alternative). I could not attach the project, becausemy project file size is over1MB.
