Hello everyone, I need you to solve an issue on TIA Portal V18 upd 3. I create my hardware config on TIA Selection Tool and export in .aml file. When I want to import this configuration on TIA V18, the software crashes. You can find attached the data report generated by TIA when crashes and the .aml file. Do you know why the software crashes ? Thanks in advance. AttachmentTIA Crash.zip (10 Downloads) |

Hi mguerinmgea, I had the same problem that you are having and the same thing happened to me, the software always crashed. I asked Siemens technical support to report it and they told me that the development has already registered this crash and that it should improve the behavior in update 4 that they are going to release soon for V18! So we will have to wait until this update comes out. Best regards! |

Dear mguerinmgea, It looks like exporting the TIA Selection Tool has a problem with the CP1542. If you delete this module before exporting it to TIA Portal, you could perform the import without errors (see file in attachment). I'm going to pass that on to development. Thanks for the information! AttachmentProject_corr.zip (10 Downloads) |

Hello, I had the same issue with the CAx Import/Export. I made a support request to Siemens and they give me a PATCH, it will be solved in the next update. Please try to follow the steps in the description and tell me if it works for you.. Normally should solve the issue. AttachmentPATCH CAx import export leads to crash.zip (13 Downloads) |
