Adding an ADI4 to a topology

Hi,

i'm trying to add a ADI4 to my 840Dsl network. The physical and TIA adress are the same and now i'm uploading the topology but i get the error 4114. 

It seems and error in System Data Blocks (HWConfig Data), Do you have suggestions? 

About PN connector resistance: It's ON on ADI4 and OFF on NCU and IM module. Is it correct?

What PLC Base program have you selected within TIA? and what version of TIA are you using?

The "General" release of TIA support with 840Dsl was only introduced at V4.8, use at V4.5 would have only been supported on special use cases with approved machines, OEM/Builders and configurations.

Therefore V4.5 should be programmed in Simatic Manager (Step 7 Classic)

Where can i see the base program version? I have NCU 710.3B - PLC 317-3 PN/DP

I'm using TIA V17 without problem, this is a test hardware for internal purposes.

Next week i'm going to update to v4.95 anyway.

This would be the base program you selected from the Sinumerik TIA Toolbox (within TIA itself), the toolbox needed when working in TIA is not the same as the one used with Simatic Manager. You will need the V4.95 TIA toolbox if you are looking to convert next week.

You can also view the currently loaded PLC Base version from within Operate. It is within the Diagnosis > Version area ( I do not have a control booted at the moment so can not give the exact path).

Ok so you have Sinumerik V17 Update 2 toolbox installed, you should see the toolbox library available from the right when windows when in the block programming view?

Not sure if TIA does it automatically but you have to set up isochronous operation to get the ADI4 card to work and be accepted.
