Hi bergmanu, I've tried to install the industrial OS on the SIMATIC IOT2050 with following your guide, but I didn't succeed. I've downloaded the following industrial OS Service Stick :IOT2050_IndustrialOS_Service_Stick_V3.2.3.zip (7,8 GB) (SHA-256) on my computer, then I extracted the Service Stick image on my hard disk. Finally, I used balenaEtcher in order to write this .img file into an USB flash drive. At the end of this process, balena asked me to format my USB flash drive with a view to have a FAT32 file system. So I did it (I unfortuantely lost my data because I didn't know), and it created another reader called "indos_data" (F:) in addition on my USB flash drive (which is E:). I connected the SIMATIC to my computer thanks to the displayPort, and switch on the device. Afterwards, I put my USB flash drive into the USB 2.0 interface of the SIMATIC, rebooted the device, and I thought the the OS will start like your screenshots, but it was not the case. On the reader "indos_data", 2 folders called "apt" and "images" were created, and I've extracted from the "images" folder a .wic file which is the biggest file in the folder. I thought it was this file which could launch the OS, but apparently not. I didn't succeed to insert screenshots in the post, sorry. Edit : screenshots are in the attachment, thanks. Do you know how to resolve my problem ? Because I don't know what to do. Best regards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Attachmentscreenshots.zip (339 Downloads) |
