erenakc1 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi Thanks for answer.but ı dont understand.My system works with pic 16f84 microprocessor.This system communications with rs232 protocol to pc.I want to see datas with wincc.But ı dont know how can ı.How can i connection with s7-200 or s7-300.Can ı use cp cards.and how can ı receive and transmit. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear erenakc1, I am sorry but RS 232 is no Protocol, RS 232 is a physical standard of an Interface. The Protocol you can run on a RS 232 might be various. I think here of something like ASCII or something else. So the question would be which Protocol is used on the Device you want to connect. On the other hand the Interface of the CP in the S7-300, which would be recommendable in your case, is standardised. There will be Functionblocks to communicate to the CP. If you want you can also use a ET 200S with a 1SI Interface that provides also a RS 232 Interface. This would be accessible on PROFIBUS DP. Both is possible but in both cases you will have to invest some time to get it to work. Best regards J_Bell
