Hello ! Is possible to simulatethis applicationusing PLCSim and Runtime WinCC Flex and save the data logging file generatedon PC ? Greetings. Splitted from Data loggging with trigger bits in Winccflex 05. |

Hi Pulsar, yes it is possible. Follow the instructions of this FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/38717202 But use "PLCSIM" instead of "TCP/IP(Auto)"as described in the FAQ. Hint: The interface parameter assignment has to match the WCF settings, for instance use "PLCSIM(PROFIBUS)" if your WCF connection is set to "PROFIBUS". |

Hello ! Ok, I understood how to set the interface using PLCSim.But I have some doubts aboutworking on data logging in WinCC Flexible 2008 - TP270 (testing with Runtime)and PLC CPU315-2 PN/DP (testing with PLCSim). I have createdone data log (Data_log_1) with 100 data records perlog, circular method and#10 logs.As a trigger tag I createdTag_1 (M4.0) and Tag_2 is the logging process variable (MD500 as real). So, I want to start (M4.0 =1) and stop (M4.0 = 0)the logging process variable (MD500)with the trigger bitcontrolled byPLC (M4.0).When Iwrite this trigger tag M4.0 to 1 value itmust start the logging process of MD500and stop when the value is 0. I also want to save the data in a PC file. How can I do it ? Please, could someone show me some steps to implement that... Greetings. |

Dear Berg, Perhaps this link might give you a hint: how can you store tags/data records event-triggered with date and time in a CSV file? Or you should use the 'events' of the tag M4.0 to start logging and stop logging Best regards, Wizard |

Hello Wizard !
Thank you for the link, it´s interesting using scripts.
I´m trying to use the events of M4.0 tag to start/stop data logging, but I am not having success at it. Well, I´m using a WinCC Flex Runtime PC to test the application. I have created a Data_log_1 to storage at path C:\test\(TXT file) and two tags: > Tag_1 (Bool M4.0) - Trigger Tag: Properties: Logging> Data Log>Data_log_1 Events: High limit> StartLogging> Data_log_1 Low limit> StopLogging> Data_log_1 > Tag_2 (Real MD500) - Process Tag: Properties: Logging> Data Log> Data_log_1 With these configurations it´s not working. The column "values" in Data_log.TXT file is always 0. I really don´t know what are my mistakes... If someone can help meI´ll appreciate ! Greetings. |
