Dear ketz22, at first you should check if the interface/driver (for example your ethernet card) is correctly shown/installed in the windows device manager. If the interface you would like to use is not already shown in the device manager, this will not work with STEP 7 either. Furthermore it would be helpful to know which interface you would like to use an which software version is installed on your system. You can also try the steps from following FAQ: How do you generally parameterize the PG/PC interface and how do you ensure that the device driver can be selected and is visible?Depending on the OS you are using on the PC, there may be some differences. But in general you can try to uninstall the device in the device manager, rename the folder "LogDevices" and restart your system. Maybe this helps regards sancruz |
