Logo! 8 small and medium industrial projects

Hi guys

i am new to Siemens logo

now i have some university students their senior project require them to implement a Small PLC in a factory.

my suggestion to them is to go to the juice factories and propose an automatic control of the juice tank in all the possible parameters ( temperature, pressure, level) with HMI using web based page.

so is that possible with Logo! 8?

do you have any other suggestions? Any other factories or workshops  that can be automated

What I mean here is something beyond what is already available in the official website

Let me give a few examples.

-Light control with automatic  day light adjustment on sun rise , during the year........

-Tank refill start on low level , stop on high level, with running hour monitor , with long run time protection and to long time low level alarm.

- Multiple pumps with ballancing running time for maintenance.....

- Using menu on TDE to scroll and start stop outputs.

- using multiple logos in network setup and share inputs / outputs , including a self test incase a network connection fails ( it is interresting how easy this is and how difficult you can make it)

- Traffic light control

- Hot water storage tank with solar panel and differential temp. control, extra a freezing protection.
