Hi Miami, Could you please give me a code demo using this way to control servo motor? "You will have to fill the encoder and drive status in the "Input" section of the DB in the OB PreServo. And use the "output" section of the DB in the OB PostServo." I try to find a document to follow as you said. But I can't. The TO is expecting a drive following the PROFIdrive profile. When you set the Bits "out2" and "out3" in the control word the drive will set correspondending bits in the statusword. If you have no drive following the PROFIdrive profile, you have to simulate it. I haven't programmed it, so I can't present a "drive simulation" code. Have a look on the status and control word (see attachment, row "comments").

Hi, Miami. Thank you for your reply. I want to add more questions. Can we use Motion Control Datablock Encoder to control MINAS A6 servo drives? Thanks.

Hi, i think not. For that the PROFIDRIVE is not specified so the TO objects can't work with it. Regards Christoph |
