Programming S5 Memory Card using Field PG P4

cgarcia Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi, I need programming a S5 Memory Card for a CP 1430 using a Siemen Fields PG P4. Every time the COM1430 software say to me Illegal EPROM cartridge. I used the Programming Number = 500 for this card. Where is the problem in the S5 Software or in the PG?, Will I need a upgrade for this new PG? Memory Card : 6ES5 374-2KH21 Field PG Bios Version : 03.01.09 Thanks.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hi, I guess you can imagine how difficult it is to determine what cause this situation may have. Personally I would try to prom a Program within STEP 5 onto the Prom. If this does not work try a different type of Prom maybeone withof the376 type. If all this does not work I guess there is a problem with the Installation of the PG, the Settings within the Bios or with the Hardware itself. This would require to contact the Customer Support of Siemens anyway. Best regards J_Bell.
