S5 and Intouch

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi all! I've got a customer who's been having problem with a communication between an S5 PLC and Intouch. He says he's using the driver S3964. Since his operational system is WinXP, he's affraid there might be compatibility issues, since he claims XP isn't mentioned in the compatibility list! Anyone knows this driver? Do you know any updated drivers for this that will work under Win XP? Thanks! Danielle

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Nevermind! I requested for support from Wonderware and they pointed me to an updated version of the driver, which supports WinXP! Thanx all anyway!

He says he's using the driver S3964. Hi Danielle, The driver is maybe P3964(R), a protocol of Siemens self. It could be used together with RK512, the (R) stands for Redundancycheck. It is a serial protocol. [;)]
